La Grèce antique, la naissance de la bague Iris et du jonc Olympia.

Ancient Greece, the birth of the Iris ring and the Olympia bangle.

My jewelry is inspired by ancient Greece and reinterpreted in a contemporary way, for today's modern and feminine woman.

Originally, the main function of Greek jewelry was to show and make others notice one's social status.

The Greeks are renowned for the manufacture of many sumptuous and noble jewels, adorned with details, patterns, animals, beech leaves, Heracles knots, etc. symbols from which I drew inspiration for each of my jewels.

Initially, the jewelry of this era was often refined, which is what I wanted to represent in my first ring creation: the Iris ring.

An openwork and airy ring, using a noble, matte and brushed material, which is represented on many objects from this period.

The central fine stone gives it a feminine and imposing touch on the finger, combining nobility and elegance.

Later, the jewelry of ancient Greece evolved and welcomed more geometric shapes.

The Olympia bangle, adorned with fine stones surrounding its two ends, is inspired by this period.

Over time, jewelry evolved and many other ornaments, emblematic figures and animals appeared, relating to the history and mythology of this civilization.

The rest of my inspirations will be told to you in the next article on my blog.

See you soon….
